We are an
established and fast growing open membership based SACCO operating within
Nakuru county with 10,000 members and 3 branches.
Senior Internal Auditor
To be based
at the head office and report to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the presence of adequate and effective internal controls.
- Co-ordinate the internal audits of the branches.
- Ensure all special investigations are properly defined and executed.
- Review reliability and integrity of financial and operating information.
- Ensure that the audit recommendations are discussed with Audit Committee and are implemented through post implementation reviews.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree preferably in Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent.
- CPA III.
- Minimum of Five (3) years’ experience in a busy auditing environment preferably in a SACCO set up with both BOSA and FOSA activities.
- Diploma in Co-operative Management, CPA III and at least 5 years experience.
- Computer literate, appreciation of Fin financial Software will be an added advantage.
- Have a valid certificate of good conduct.
- At least 30 years old.
