works closely with communities and establishes local partnerships to deliver
health services, while providing training and equipment to improve systems and enable
our partners to deliver services on their own.

Outline
of Role:
The
Operations Research Manager (ORM) is responsible for overseeing the design,
implementation, monitoring, and dissemination of the PMNH+ Operations Research
in the field, in collaboration with the HQ Technical Backstop and the Principal
Investigator (PI).
The
ORM will provide technical oversight in the field of all stages of the
operations research and will ensure the quality of the research design and
implementation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- MPH, or Masters
of relevant health field
- 4-years
experience implementing community or facility-based research in Kenya
- Previous
experience leading at least one quantitative and qualitative research
study
- Technical
expertise in maternal and neonatal health
- Ability to write
research briefs for publication
- Ability to live
and work in Elgeyo Marakwet County, Kenya
- Excellent English
writing skills required.
- Proficiency in
MS Office Word, MS Excel, SPSS or SASS or other relevant data analysis
software.
