Deputy Head of Business Development
This position reports to the Head of Business Development.
This position reports to the Head of Business Development.
The
candidate will be responsible for assisting the HBD in managing and supervising
the team in the department, heavy involvement in business development &
growth and focus on development of new market-driven products.
- Assist the
Divisional Director with the leadership of the division
- Spearhead all
business development initiatives in the division
- Assist in the
implementation of the strategic business development plan
- Manage Public
Insurance Tenders
- Spearheading and
rising the Company’s profile through various activities and events – in
liaison with the PR division
- Spearhead cross
selling among operating divisions
Qualifications
& Competencies
- University
Degree in Business Related Studies
- Must have a
minimum of 10 years relevant working experience
- Pursuing
insurance professional exams at an advanced level / fully qualified
- Solid technical
experience of various insurance policies
- High
professional ethical standing
- Ability to work
under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to grow
the business through new business / portfolio growth
