Our client, a construction company seeks to recruit experienced Equipment Operators responsible of operating heavy machinery used on construction site such as cranes, bulldozers and diggers in a safe and effective manner.
Key ResponsibilitiesOur client, a construction company seeks to recruit experienced Equipment Operators responsible of operating heavy machinery used on construction site such as cranes, bulldozers and diggers in a safe and effective manner.
- Operate all
heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant
legislation, policies and procedures
- Perform daily
safety and maintenance checks
- Clean heavy
equipment as scheduled and/or required
- Ensure heavy
equipment is safely and securely stored
- Advise the
Foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
- Participate in
routine maintenance
- Practice
workplace safety and maintain inventory
- Perform other
related duties
Qualification/Experience
- Should have a
Heavy Equipment Operation Certificate
- Must have a
valid driver’s license
- Must have a
minimum of 5 years experience in operation of heavy construction equipment
including bulldozers cranes, diggers, air compressors
- Knowledge of
truck and equipment safety
- Knowledge of
operation of frontend loaders, dozers, graders, compactors and other
pieces of heavy equipment
- Should have good
hand-eye coordination with ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of
equipment maintenance and storage
