Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify
trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events,
publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and
their accomplishments.
- Locate or
propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners;
discovering and exploring opportunities.
- Screen potential
business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements,
potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal
priorities; recommending equity investments.
- Develop
negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new
venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and
potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
- Close new
business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating
contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Protect
organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Update job
knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading
professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in
professional organizations.
- Enhance
organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and
different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job
accomplishments.
Skills
and Certification:
- A Bachelors’
Degree in a business related field.
- MBA has higher
chance
- Knowledgeable on
the existing company markets as well as market segments that can be
captured.
- Excellent
presentation skills.
- Excellent
communication skills.
- Proficiency in
computerize packages.
- Attention to
detail with good analytical skills, initiative and a concern for quality.
- Ability to solve
problems quickly and completely.
- Setting high
standards of performance for self; assuming responsibility and
accountability for successfully completing assignments.
- Planning and
Organizing Work: Ability to plan all the assigned tasks and prioritize to
deliver expected results within the set deadlines.
- Delivers agreed
output within the set timelines.

Experience:
- Post Graduate
with 5-9 years’ Experience
- Candidates must
have good contacts with the local authorities and should have the complete
knowledge of handling business development activities for East Africa
- Exposure to
telecom industry
- Good writing
skills,
- FMCG / Telecom
sales experience is a must.
