The office of the Governor, Turkana County wishes to recruit a competent and qualified person to fill the following position in the Turkana County Public Service Board
Secretary, Turkana County Public Service Board (1 Post)
Duties and Responsibilities
The secretary to the board is the link between the board members and the secretariat and is accountable to the board for:
- Preparing and
circulating minutes and agenda of the board meetings
- Developing
annual work plan for the board with the guidance of the chairperson;
- Conveying the
decisions of the Board; and
- Providing
guidance and advice to the Secretariat on matters of ethics and good
governance.
For
appointment to this position the candidate must:
- Be a Kenyan
citizen.
- Be a holder of a
first degree from a University recognized in Kenya.
- 10 years working
experience.
- Satisfy the
requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya
- Conform with the
requirements of article 233 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
- Be a Certified
Public Secretary of good professional standing.
- Understand the
diversity within the County.
NB:
A Master’s degree will be an added advantage
