Sales Representative (Retail)
Company Profile: Our Client is a Telecommunication company that has grown to become one of the largest mobile phone distributors in Africa.
This
is an entry level position and the candidate will mainly be stationed at our
retail outlets to handle work in clients and explain the various features of
the products.
Main responsibilities
- Make a thorough
market and brand review at regular times
- Conduct market
research to understand market dynamics.
- Implement the
marketing plan in respect of budget, timing and brand guide lines.
- Deal directly
with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
- Respond promptly
to customer inquiries
- Handle and
resolve customer complaints
- Obtain and
evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints
- Perform customer
verifications
- Process orders,
forms, applications and requests
- Direct requests
and unresolved issues to the designated resource
- Manage
customers' accounts
- Keep records of
customer interactions and transactions
- Record details
of inquiries, comments and complaints
- Record details
of actions taken
- Communicate and
coordinate with internal departments
- Follow up on
customer interactions

- Knowledge of customer
service principles and practices
- Knowledge of
relevant computer applications
- Knowledge of
administrative procedures
Required
Qualifications
- Diploma in
Marketing / Sales or a Business Related Field
- 1 – 3 years Past
experience in similar field is of importance. Retail management experience
preferred.
