Job
Summary
Reporting
to the Chief Executive Officer the job holder will be responsible for the
smooth running of the branch functionally and administratively.
Duties
and Responsibilities
- Administering
and interpreting policies and procedures.
- Implementing and
promoting Society products and services.
- Monitoring and
ensuring the accuracy of all branch transactions.
- Monitoring cash
levels held at the vault and by tellers on daily basis.
- Ensuring
effective and efficient customer service delivery and in particular ensure
compliance with Society’s Customer Service Charter.
- Ensuring
security of employees, cash and other valuable Society documents.
- Ensuring
compliance with the relevant statutory, legal and regulatory requirements
in execution of branch operations.
- Ensuring
compliance with occupational, safety and health requirements.
- Liaising with
the departmental heads and other relevant stakeholders on issues relating
to the branch.
- Any other duties
that may be assigned by the Chief Executive Officer from time to time.
Key
Qualification:
- KCSE Grade B or
its equivalent
- Bachelor degree
in Business related field, Banking and Finance.
- Certified
professional banker or other related professional qualifications will be
an added advantage
- Proficiency in
computer skills.
- Previous
experience of working with an ERP system preferred.
- Minimum 5 years
relevant experience at supervisory level in the banking sector.

Branch Operations Officer III
Job
Summary
Reporting
to the Branch Manager, the job holder will be responsible for all the
operations at the branch.
Duties
and Responsibilities
- Ensuring
effective and efficient management of the Branch operations.
- Coordinating and
supervising Branch activities and ensuring operations are carried out in
accordance with the established rules and regulations.
- Maintaining
timely, accurate and balanced records pertaining to Branch operations.
- Maintaining
adequate cash reserves in accordance with the Branch operational
procedures.
- Reviewing
systems, processes and procedures of Branch operations and make
appropriate recommendations on improvements to the Branch manager.
- Ensuring that
correspondences are promptly and appropriately tackled and that issues
pertaining to customer care are competently handled.
- Ensuring
observance of the Customer Service Charter and report any deviations to
the Branch manager for actions.
Key
Qualifications:
- KCSE Grade B- or
its equivalent
- Bachelor degree
in Banking or business related field.
- Post graduate
Diploma in business related field or CPA II will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in

Branch Credit Officer IV
Reports
functionally to the Credit Manager and administratively to the Branch Manager
Job
Summary
The
Job holder will be responsible for ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of all
loan processes and procedures at the Branch.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinating the
loan processing activity at the branch.
- Appraising and
advising members on loan eligibility
- Advising members
on loan approval status.
- Ensuring
completeness of loan application forms and adequacy of information
provided.
- Ensuring
compliance of loan procedures as per SASRA and other legal requirements.
- Generating loan
appraisal reports using computer programs to evaluate members’ financial
status.
- Generating loans
periodical reports for the branch manager.
- Periodically
advising on the adequacy of the loan appraisal tools available.
Key
Qualifications:

Branch Accountant IV
Job
Summary
Reporting
to Branch Manager, the job holder will be responsible for accounting records
and the control function of the branch.
Duties
and Responsibilities
- Obtaining on a
daily basis, the statements of the Sacco’s accounts in favour of which
standing orders and or direct debits are effected.
- Ensuring all
entries in the bank statements have been entered in the cash books.
- Updating list of
standing orders, direct debits, and any other forms of remittances.
- Daily updating
and continuous monitoring of customers’ accounts.
- Producing
relevant reports in respect of various categories of customers.
- Undertaking
control accounts reconciliations.
- Raising journal
entries, adjustments, corrections and any necessary amendments to the
accounts.
- Keeping Custody
of the branch accountable documents.
- Production of
periodic management reports.
- Ensuring
accuracy, completeness and integrity of cash operations.
- Preparing
Quality Assurance reports and updates on all operational areas.

Qualifications:

Job
Summary
Reporting
to the Procurement Officer, this position will be responsible for:
Duties
and Responsibilities
- Vetting of
supply requisitions for non-stock items raised by user departments.
- Preparing papers
for presentation to various committees of the procurement function.
- Ensuring that
procurement procedures are properly documented, records and procurement
and disposal files maintained in a secure location.
- Receiving, open
and safeguard all tenders.
- Issuing bidding
documents to candidates.
- Preparing
contract documents, in line with the award decision.
- Ensuring that
procurement and disposal documents are issued and records are maintained,
in accordance with the Regulations.
- Assisting in
preparation and submission of any reports required under the Public
Procurement and Disposal Act, the Regulations and guidelines and the
Society’s Procurement Manual.
- Any other duties

- To provide
feedback to the Sacco on members issues and expectations.

as may be assigned from time to time.
