IT Support Specialist Job in Kenya


Infosol Systems Ltd is looking for a full-time IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Specialist role is to Install Bitdefender Security Products both consumer and business to its clients.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to work well as part of a team and possess superior communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. 

He or she should be a self-starter with the ability to find his or her own solutions to problems and understand the inter-dependencies between applications systems and Bitdefender Security Suits. 

Be ready to start work immediately and willing to travel allover Kenya

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical support with strong technical problem diagnosis skills.
  • Works well in an interrupt driven environment
  • Excellent people skills, including good verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent decision making and troubleshooting skills
  • Able to assess, negotiate and resolve questions and problems
  • Able to view incidents and problems from the customer perspective
  • Able to recognize impact of lost opportunity costs to the firm for extended delays in incident resolution
  • Has a service attitude with the ability to assess individual circumstances
  • Skilled at managing end user expectations
  • Microsoft Certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST)
Education
  • A degree or diploma in I.T Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field is a plus
Technology Experience
  • Microsoft OS (Clients and Server)
  • Linux/Unix platforms
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • MS SQL/MY SQL Experience
  • Firewalls/VPNs
  • Network troubleshooting
  • Hardware / software troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Virtualization (VMware or a Hype V) will be added advantage
