IT Manager Kenya / East Region IT Support
Outputs:
- Provide
professional Back Office operational support for Microsoft Server and
Network environment.
- Primary
responsibilities are the monitoring, management, and optimisation of
Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange. This role requires a highly
proactive approach and will be expected to drive continual improvements to
maintain a highly stable server and network infrastructure.
- Responsible for
backup of company and application data . Manage the network
infrastructure from a design, implementation, planning, installation and
support point of view
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot,
manage and resolve Server and Network related calls
- Proactive
problem identification and resolution
- Installation and
configuration
- On-going
maintenance (housekeeping, health checks etc.
- Maintain
Technical Documentation for the region
- Reporting status
to management. Identifying problems and bringing them to the Managers
attention with sufficient lead time to avert crises
- Working
effectively as part of a team and seeks to support the team’s goals
- Broadening own
technical, functional, and industry skill base
- Plan, implement,
verify and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks and work
focusing on advanced security, voice and wireless solutions
- To maintain and
manage various networks and services for the business

server and networking infrastructure as required
- To achieve high
standard of customer satisfaction through the delivery of timely and well
managed project
- To perform first
level support for day to day server/network operations
- To evaluate,
implement and apply new technologies and to enhance the service offering
of the network team in MCSA Ltd
- To own and
ensure successful on-going delivery of services after project completion

accountability for timely delivery of major projects
- To develop

- Be able to
diagnose hardware and software related issues on Cisco equipment
- Ensuring that
response times are kept within the parameters set

including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites
in a WAN
- Plan, implement,

- University
Degree in IT or Computer Science or related field; MSC/MBA will be an
added advantage;
- At least five
years’ experience
- Technical
understanding of principles and practices of personal computers,
telecommunications and information technology.

Directory / Exchange experience essential - administration and
implementation
