Nuru International Kenya (Nuru Kenya) is a non-governmental organization registered in Kenya.

Our operations currently are concentrated in Kuria West District, Migori County, Nyanza Province.

At present our core businesses are in the agricultural sector, namely Agriculture Inputs Loans and Maize Trading.

Agriculture Inputs Loans supply Nuru Kenya’s farmers with affordable farming inputs on credit, and generate profit through interest charges.

Maize trading provides reliable market access to our farmers through buying surplus maize from the local community, processing and selling to urban mills and exporters at a profit.

We are considering expanding into trading additional agricultural commodities, possibly including cash crop out-grower schemes with the farmers we currently serve.

These businesses altogether are expected to generate an annual turnover of over 80,000,000 Kenyan Shillings in 2013, and continue to grow rapidly.
