Position: HR/Admin Officer (5months Maternity Cover) - IRC Somalia Program
Location: Nairobi
Supervisor: Operations Coordinator
The IRC has been working in Somalia since 2006, providing
essential services to conflict and disaster affected communities.
The IRC has been operational in Central Somalia (Mudug and
Galgaduud), Mogadishu and Puntland regions implementing interventions in the
areas of livelihood, WASH, Governance, protection and primary health reaching
out to more than 250,000 conflict and drought affected Somalis.
Summary of the Job: Under the supervision of the Operations Coordinator, the HR/Admin officer will support and lead in various HR and admin functions for IRC Somalia such as ensuring adherence to all personnel policies; recruitment, orientation and training for staff; managing staff payroll; staff contract management and overall office administration.
The HR/Admin officer participates in maintaining and reviewing
all administrative and human resource systems and procedures.
S/he will ensure uniform compliance with policies and procedures
at all sites and provides technical support to field based HR/Admin staff.
