1. Senior Communications Manager
Reporting to the Marketing & Corporate Affairs Director, the
role holder is responsible for:
- Creating,
owning and implementing a robust internal and external communication
strategy for Barclays Bank of Kenya
- Strategic
development and management of high quality, innovative, creative and best
practice communication channels (internal and external), ensuring they are
developed, produced, delivered, maintained and evaluated to the required
quality standards, within agreed budgets and in line with the Group
corporate identity
- Understanding
the Barclays Africa and Barclays Bank of Kenya strategy and translate into
a comprehensive Communications programme to align people, processes and
approach behind the business strategy
- Working
closely with the Head of Marketing & Corporate Affairs, serve as the
main interface between Barclays Bank of Kenya and the Barclays Africa Head
of Communication, ensuring that procedures in country are implemented and
adhered
- Helping
raise the profile of Barclays Bank of Kenya initiatives and activities to
the wider Barclays community and the external world
2. Marketing Manager
Reporting to the Marketing & Corporate Affairs Director, the
role holder is responsible for:
- Working
closely with internal teams and external creative, design and media
agencies, the jobholder is responsible for delivering the brand
positioning via the communication strategy and the creation and delivery
of communication activity. The responsibilities for their specific media
sit across all segments of Barclays Kenya.
- Working
with the internal teams to plan campaign strategies across a number of
products, services, & customer segments which helps the businesses achieve
their specific recruitment and retention objectives and reinforces
Barclays brand image and reputation (awareness, liking and consideration)
