The company wishes to recruit competent, innovative and self-driven persons to fill the following positions:

Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager will be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To update and implement company’s Procurement Policy and Procurement Manual.
  • Be responsible for carrying out procurement functions in accordance with the procedures specified and ensuring that ethical policies are adhered to.
  • Coordinate the preparation of procurement documents, utilizing sound sustainable procurement practices, while adhering to company policies and current legislation.
  • Assist line managers and departments in all aspects of procurement.
  • Verify payments due and submit the same to finance department.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports to the management.
  • To monitor and evaluate suppliers on a regular basis.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a first degree in procurement and logistics.
  • Professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Possess well-developed communication, organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of professional integrity and strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team based multi-cultural environment.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight schedules under minimum supervision.
Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer

The successful candidate will be responsible for the general office management and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General office administration.
  • Maintaining the CEO’s diary.
  • Managing routine correspondence, maintaining confidential documents and ensure systematic filing of all records.
  • Making travel arrangements for the CEO.
  • Preparation and attendance of meetings, taking minutes and ensuring provision of back-up material.
  • Assisting the CEO in the day to day running of the company and managing the office in his absence.
  • Supporting all marketing events and activities.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a first degree in relevant field.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position with good organizational skills.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Camp Manager

The Camp Manager will be responsible for the entire camp management that includes coordinating and overseeing the day to day operations, maintenance, personnel and services at assigned camp ensuring quality to the customer.

The Camp Manager will directly report to the Country Head.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the camp activities are carried out optimally and safely within the set standards.
  • Ensure company policies are properly implemented.
  • Ensure that the company meets its short and long term business objectives through implementation and review of appropriate strategies and objectives.
  • Interact closely with the company’s clients, regulators and government bodies.
  • Attend to issues brought up by clients and resolve them.
  • Oversee equipment and material within assigned area of responsibility and ensure facilities are well maintained.
  • Overall supervision of camp staff by monitoring their schedules and daily assignments.
  • Ensure personal hygiene standards, uniform code and code of behaviour among all camp staff.
  • Provide leadership and direction to Department/Section Managers/Supervisors
  • To implement training programs.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a first degree in relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position with good organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of HACCP Food Handling procedures and QHSE standards.
  • General knowledge of some of the following areas is highly desired: operations and maintenance, food service, logistics and inventory management, waste management, and/or contracts.
  • Sound management background displaying ability to staff, organize, lead and manage a diverse work force larger than 100 people.
  • Willingness to travel and work in various locations.
  • Willingness to work extended hours in support of 24 X 7 operations.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
