Accounts Clerk

General Purpose

Perform a wide range of General Clerical and Bookkeeping support functions

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Receive Camp Cash Sales & invoices and sort them for posting
  • Receive Camp Petty Cash expenses and sort them for posting
  • Check and verify both Source documents for accuracy & authenticity
  • Analyze discrepancies and report them.
  • Update and post these to the respective ledgers and other financial records
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks
  • Prepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activities
  • Receive & verify accuracy of Camp Perpetual Stock sheets of all Inventories
  • Assist in Month end Reporting procedures
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Management
Education and Experience
  • High School Certificate (KCSE) Mean Grade B or equivalent
  • CPA 2 Pass or equivalent
  • Experience in Clerical Accounting in the Hospitality Industry
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Accounting Software
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting and Bookkeeping Principles and Procedures
