Mumcop was initiated and registered with the Ministry of Culture
and Social Services in the year 1999,.but became actively involved in HIV/AIDS
in the year 2002. The CBO got its NGO status in December 2009 through the NGO
Coordinating Board.
MUMCOP was first registered as a CBO in 2002 to mitigate the impact of HIV
& AIDS
