The Head of Food Security, Africa is responsible for the overall Profit and Loss in Sub-Saharan Africa and growing the business of the product lines.

The Head of Food Security, Africa is responsible for the overall Profit and Loss in Sub-Saharan Africa and growing the business of the product lines.
- Implementing
Food Security regional strategy and instilling corporate culture and
values
- Defining
regional strategic business plans and meeting budgets for the entire
portfolio, in cooperation with internal stakeholders
- Achieving
budgeted targets as outlined under the Africa Food Security P&L
- Leading
in new market entry strategies, identifying business development
opportunities and driving regional sales growth
- Building
and maintaining a strong network with new and existing stakeholders,
including proposal and program analysis

Education and Experience:
- Masters
in Business Administration or equivalent
- Bachelor’s
degree in agricultural science / economics / business or related field
- Must
have 8 -10 years in sales and market development in African crop and
livestock industry
- Must
have experience in sales to governments, tender and donor related NGO
businesses
- Experience
in influencing regional stakeholders, navigating in complex multicultural
environments and managing a complete P&L
- Fluency
in written and spoken English (French knowledge is a considerable
added advantage)
- Be
prepared to travel extensively throughout the region
