We are seeking to recruit a Business Manager with a successful
business development background to join our team in Thika.
The successful applicant will be required to build relationships with key stakeholders and identify income generating opportunities for the College.
We are looking for an exceptional business professional with excellent
interpersonal, communication, team management and organisational skills, you
will be self motivated and confidence in engaging with and influencing others.The successful applicant will be required to build relationships with key stakeholders and identify income generating opportunities for the College.
You will also need the ability to recognise and deploy skills and strengths from within the as well as across the college to increase the no of students, generate income and manage all college activities.
The successful applicant will work to deliver financial targets within the business plan, with a key focus on the growth and continual development of our students and client base both individual students and corporate and provide an exceptional customer service skills.
They will also need to have experience of achieving sales targets, staff and staff management and supervision setting and monitoring team targets and have excellent experience of developing marketing and promotional materials for our target markets.
Applicants must have an ability to negotiate and influence a wide range of stakeholders and be able to manage their time effectively by demonstrating excellent organisational skills.
The successful candidate must possess:
- Experience
and success in running of a college
- Must
be a Masters/degree holder and previously held the position of principal
or deputy
- Ability
to build partnership in private and public sector (local and
international)
- Ability
to identify and exploit courses that are marketable to students
- Ability
to identify and exploit marketing skill to bring in students
- Ability
to identify and exploit income generating opportunities
Knowledge of the education sector and
- Ministry
of education MOHEST
- DOSH
/ DIT
- Local
and international exam bodies
Other desirable skills:
- Experience
and success in sales and business development
- Be
able to manage their time effectively by demonstrating excellent
organisational skills.
- Excellent
relationship building skills
- Experience
of managing a staff/students
