Our Client, an ICT firm providing Custom Software Development,
Mobile Banking, web solutions, alongside other ICT based services, seeks to
recruit Software Developers.
The successful candidates will also be informing the management
on the progress of the team’s activities and the situation on the ground with
relation to the business - client relationship and achievement of set targets.
Qualification and Competencies
Qualification and Competencies
- A
Bachelor’s degree in Software Development or IT/Computer Science with major
in Software Development.
- A
course in project management and/or database administration and
management.
- At
least 2-5 years of previous experience in projects involving developing
and handling commercial projects that have been used by corporate organizations
for commercial and production purposes.
- Previous
experience in use of financial management software and financial
accounting packages.
- Proven
experience in desktop and web development with Java SE, J2ME, PHP,
Javascript, HTML, ASP.Net, C#, VB.Net and Ajax.
- Proficient
in use of Database platforms; Oracle, SQL Server, MySql, XML, Sybase,
Foxpro and Postgres.
- Proven
experience in Graphic Design using photoshop, illustrator, fireworks,
coreldraw e.t.c
- Ability
to deliver top quality software working solutions within set deadline
limits and specifications.
- Proven
record of human and project organization and management skills.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Use
knowledge of the system-development cycle to analyze current systems and
create, test, implement, maintain and document applications.
- Come
up with requirement specification as well as statement of work (SoW)
documents and tools relevant in software development life cycle.
- Software
modeling and simulation as well as front end graphical user interface design.
- Come
up with appropriate software designs for solutions that can be developed
and implemented easily.
- Come
up with necessary project documentation during the software development
process.
- Develop
software according to specifications given and deliver within time
deadline and resource constraints.
- Integrate
various software solutions with pre-existing or new software and hardware
solutions
- Deploy,
install, configure, set up and test systems at clients sites as well as
offer support and solutions to these clients concerning products offered
to them.
- Manage
a project and the project team.
- Carry
out software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software
review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, and software
reliability analysis.
