Role
Objective / Summary
To
consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as
represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. In
addition, build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business
opportunities.
The
Sales Representatives will be responsible for the following:
- Formulating,
articulating and implementing appropriate and effective sales strategies
with a view to achieving business development
- Prepare
a weekly sales plan on how to achieve the target sales for the region
assigned and ensuring that monthly Sales targets are delivered and cost
budgets are met by achieving set sales target continuously from both
existing and new clients
- Conducting
regular analyses of industry competitors and their strategies by
Identifying and researching on existing and new clients/marketing opportunities
from the assigned region
- Overseeing
the effective management of client relationships, interfacing with key
client personnel, screening inquires and ensuring delivery of quality
service to clients
- Preparing
ad hoc and regular reports for presentation and recommendation
- Acting
as a contract between the company and its existing potential customers
- Assisting
in the preparation of sound business plans, sales forecasts and budgets as
well as accurately measuring performance along metrics including revenues
and profitability
- Developing
sales pitches for the various company products and services
- Analyzing
the market environment i.e. analyzing other competitor prices, the amount
of demand and supply in the market and new developments
- Assisting
in the timely resolution of customer issues and ensuring that all clients
are maintained through proactive communication with the client and
ensuring that all queries, complaints are promptly attended to
- Managing
relationships through excellent customer relations in order to protect the
company's exposure and maximize returns in a manner consistent with
business strategy
- Monitoring
and reviewing the performance of existing clients’ accounts
- Any
other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
The successful candidate should have the following
qualifications:
- Bachelors
degree in the field of Marketing
- A
Diploma in Hotel Management will be an added advantage
- Age
28-33 years
- At
least 4-5 years experience in marketing in commercial sector 2 years of
which should be selling hospitality related Amenities and Accessories
- Excellent
computer skills
- A
proven record of meeting sales targets.
- Good
presentation skills
- An
individual with a wide network of business contacts
- Strong
understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Must
be a strong “People Person” with excellent communication skills; and a
positive persuasive personality.

Objective/Summary
- Marketing
of irrigation systems (overhead and drip irrigation) green house covers
and structures.
- Innovation
and implementation of new ways of irrigation which are cost effective and
efficient in use.
- Direct
sales of irrigation equipments
- Design
of drip and overhead irrigation systems
- Supervision
of on-going projects
- Assist
in follow up of debts initiated by self
- Co-ordinate
with stores department for supply and delivery of goods to our customers
on time.
- Follow
up closely on sales prospects by phone, mail and or visits
- Assist
all customers with the view of acquiring and capturing sales
- Prepare
irrigation adverts and participate in all the approved irrigation fairs
and shows.
- Fully
develop assigned irrigation markets and products
- Meet
irrigation budgets set by the irrigation Manager
- Prepare
annual budgets which will be an integral part of irrigation and GNS annual
budget.
- Update
the irrigation Manager on your daily sales plans, visits, and work
schedules.
- Prepare
weekly sales plans and forward to irrigation manager
- Fully
participate in semiannual stocktaking and ensure the right counts are
obtained.
- Ensure
all sales are within approved profit margins
- Maintain
the set sales margins for all products
- Any
other duties assigned to you by the general manager, Sales manager or
irrigation Manager.
The successful candidate should have the following
qualifications:
- A
University degree or diploma in Engineering disciplines like Water, Civil
and Agricultural Engineering specialties.
- Any
further qualification in Sales would be an added advantage
- At
least 5 years experience in Engineering and Sales management.
- Strong
understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Willingness
to travel and work in a local, regional and global market set up.
- Proven
leadership and ability to drive sales and manage teams.
- Proficient
in the use of MS Office 2000, Internet and E-mail.
- Posses
excellent verbal and written communication skill to prepare proposals and
tactfully and decisively manage clients, suppliers and other third-parties
- Driven
and able to motivate others; providing creative and innovative solutions
to internal and external clients
