Production Supervisor
A Kenya based leading Manufacturer of Pharmaceutical products in
Eastern and Central Africa, seeks to recruit a dynamic individual with
outstanding leadership qualities for the above position.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Be
responsible for managing the day to day running of the production section.
- In
charge of Personnel issues within the section such as on job training,
management of discipline, health and safety, performance e.t.c in liaison
with the HR department.
- Ensure
availability of all required production materials to avoid interruptions
during the production process
- Effective
implementation of the production plan to meet set production targets
- In
charge of coordination and planning of all production activities through
effective prioritization.
- Ensure
adherence to all set regulatory requirements within the section.
- Prepare
and review the relevant production documents within the section and ensure
that all documents are current and compliant to set regulations such as
cGMP.
- Ensure
preventive maintenance is done on machines within the section in liaison
with the Maintenance department.
Requirements
1. A Bsc in Chemistry, Food and Process Engineering, Chemical
Process Engineering or Industrial Chemistry from a recognized University
OR
2. A Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Technology.
3. Be at least 25 years old.
4. Excellent communication and people management skills.
5. Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team to deliver key
outputs on time and within budget.
6. Must be a goal oriented individual who is highly organized
with attention to detail.
7. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
