local company is looking at refurbishing and opening a hotel in Nairobi with
expansion plans all over the country.
Therefore
the company seeks for the services of a qualified and experienced Hotel Manager.
Refurbishing
the current set up.
Setting
up other hotels within the group.
Project
management.
Promoting
and marketing the business.
Managing
budgets and financial plans as well as controlling expenditure.
Setting
and achieving sales and profit targets.
Recruiting,
training and monitoring staff.
Planning
work schedules for individuals and teams.
Dealing
with customer complaints and comments.
Supervising
maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings.
Ensuring
compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory
regulations.
Job
Requirements:
- Degree
in Hotel Management
- A
Masters Degree will be an added advantage.
- At
least 2 years in a management position in a hotel setting.
- Ability
to think clearly and make quick decisions.
- Good
Planning skills.
- Ability
to balance customer and business priorities.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
