(1) Assistant Manager - Sales

Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Formulating,
articulating and implementing appropriate and effective sales strategies
with a view to achieving business development
- Preparing,
implementing and supervising weekly, monthly and quarterly sales promotional
activities and development programs so as to identifying target
markets/opportunities and assigning territories for the development of
business for the company
- Delivering
monthly Sales targets and meeting cost budgets
- Conducting
regular analyses of industry competitors and their strategies and
reporting on the same
- Overseeing
the effective management of client relationships, interfacing with key
client personnel, screening inquires and ensuring delivery of quality
service to clients
- Managing
the Direct Sales Force and ensure that they are meeting their targets
- Preparing
ad hoc and regular reports for presentation and recommendation to
management
- Performing
Client advisory services and marketing the Company’s products to potential
agents and customers
- Assisting
in the preparation of sound business plans, sales forecasts and budgets as
well as accurately measuring performance along metrics including revenues
and profitability
- Developing
sales pitches for the various company products and services
- Managing,
mentoring, motivating and appraising the members of the Direct slaes Force
to ensure peak performance
- Assisting
in the Recruitment and Training of the Direct Sales Force
- Utilizing
the market intelligence reports to improve performance and enhance the
public knowledge and interest in the services offered by the organization
- Assisting
in the timely resolution of customer issues
- Actively
participating in the product development initiatives of the Company
- Managing
relationships through excellent customer relations in order to protect the
company's exposure and maximize returns in a manner consistent with
business strategy
- Monitoring
and reviewing the performance of existing clients’ accounts

other duties that may be assigned by the CEO/MD from time to time.
Minimum requirements
- Relevant
experience with at least 2 years at a similar position.
- Various
trainings in Sales &/Marketing
- A
diploma in insurance will be an added advantage
- Business
related degree or its equivalent
- Computer

(2) Direct Sales Representative
Reporting To: Assistant Manager - Sales

the company’s products by demonstrating product features, telling
customers about product benefits, then closing the sale
- Building
a customer base
- Relationship
building
- Writing
reports
- Lead
generation and follow-up

(3) Senior Marketing/Corporate Communication Executive
Reporting To: Head of
Department – Marketing & Business Development
Duty Station: Head
Office (Nairobi)
Overall Responsibility
Support the Marketing and Business Development initiatives
especially in corporate communication, advertising, dissemination of
information to both internal and external customers, branding, product
development and company image enhancement.
Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist
in marketing company products through liaison with Marketing Executives in
the regions
- Soliciting
for new business under the direction of Assistant Manager -Marketing and
Business Development
- Carry
out research on new products in the insurance industry and make
recommendations as necessary
- Provide
logistical support in branding and product development
- Work
closely with Support Services Department in ensuring quality and
consistency of branded items
- Point
of contact with consultants related to corporate communications such as
the Public Relations Company, Design Company and any other service
providers in this field
- Coordinate
design and distribution of branded company materials
- Assist
in organizing marketing or PR activities such as expos, golf tournaments,
product launches etc
- Participate
in the production of the in-house magazine, including sourcing and editing
articles, preparing and publishing of dummies and liaising with printers
to ensure prompt and high quality production of issues.
- In
consultation with the CEO handling the placement of the Company's official
Congratulatory Message in newspaper supplements sponsored by clients and
business partners as approved from time to time
- Implementation
of CSR policy under the direction of the CEO
- Participate
in website development and enhancements
- Assist
in developing company brand policy. This includes development of company
brand manual, all internal and external branding i.e. branch signage,
letterheads etc.
- Any
other duties assigned by management in line with task
Job Requirements
- A
degree in social sciences or related field
- A
professional qualification in Marketing or Public relations
- 4
years’ relevant experience
