Job Purpose
Responsible for all financial policy aspects of the organization operations and reporting to the Director Business Support Services.
Minimum Criteria
- A
Bachelors Degree in Commerce (Accounting of Finance Option), Business
Administration (Accounting option) from a recognized institution or any
other relevant qualification adjudged to be its equivalent from an
approved institution and have passed Certified Public Accountants (CPA)
examination or its approved equivalent.
- Over
five (5) years post qualification experience in a similar or related
position.
- Proficient
in computer applications including accounting systems i.e ERP systems
- Expert
knowledge in accounting policies GAAP, IFRS etc.
- Comply
with Chapter six (6) of the Kenya constitution.
Job Title: Internal
Auditor
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Director Business Support, the internal auditor will be responsible for conducting independent audits of the operational and financial functions so as to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Establishing,
implementing and reviewing of the organization’s Internal Control Systems.
- Prepare
annual audit schedules and programs, perfoam risk exposure assessments.
- Advise
management on effective ways of enhancing the internal control mechanism
that minimize inherent operational risks
- Formulate
and implement annual audit plan in consultation with the Director Business
Support and other officers.
- Monitoring
the business environment with view to recommending new controls as new
risks emerge
- Identify
control and processes weaknesses, document main control points and provide
evidential support for report recommendations.
- Preparation
of audit reports to management.
- Aged
between 30-40years
Minimum Criteria
- A
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics from
a recognized University.
- A
qualified accountant (CPAIII/ACCA) or auditor (CIA)
- At
least three(3) years experience
- Good
analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience
using Computer Assisted Audit Techniques(CAAT)
Job Title: Legal
officer
Job Purpose
Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer, and will provide legal services, negotiate legal issues and give legal interpretation and opinion.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Advise
on legal matters specifically interpreting the Act and other related
legislation as well as advice on compliance and enforcement of existing
laws and regulations.
- Assist
in negotiations of performance contracts, draft and implement agreements,
memorandum of understanding and other legal documents.
- Attending
court proceedings and represent the organization in fora consulting on
legal issues’ of the organization
- Analyze
legal issues in respect to validation and collaboration of organization’s
issues.
Minimum Criteria
- A
Bachelors degree in Law from a recognized University.
- Be
an advocate of the High court and be a member of the Law society of Kenya.
- Have
served as a Legal Officer for at least three years in an organization.
- Possess
current Law Practicing Certificates.
- Comply
with Chapter six (6) of the constitution.
- Aged
between 30-40years
