Market Multi-Sales Manager– East Africa
Job Purpose Statement
Accountable for developing and deploying the strategy for the Chocolate, Food and Pet food segments in all East African markets to ensure the delivery of NS and Earnings targets for each market and total region.
Key objective will be to build mental & physical
availability for all supported Chocolate, Food and Pet food brands by
developing the capability of 3rd party distribution partners in all East
African markets.
Key responsibilities
Financial Shape
·
Deliver Operating Plan 2013 for Region-- NSV 40 million ZAR ($
5mio)
·
Delivery of Market Profitability for all markets.
Strategic development
·
Contribute to the development & and full accountability for
the deployment of the Battle Plan (5 year) for East Africa strategic markets.
·
Develop the regional Chocolate strategy and annual market plans.
·
Appoint, review & evaluate strategic distributor
partnerships by market.
·
Advice & Deploy marketing activity to ensure long term Brand
health.
·
Develop collaborative relationship with market regulatory
authorities with the assistance of Corporate Affairs in all markets.
·
Develop a sustainable long term Route to Market Infrastructure
in the region across the 3 segments.
·
Review pricing and portfolio in order to ensure long term
profitable growth of all Brands.
Operational execution

Develop and agree on annual market plans by Distributor.

Implement and drive key metrics measures with all distributors in
the region.

Review market pricing and price cost pushers on a regular basis.

Drive improved terms and DSO targets.

Monitor competitor RTM and pricing.
·
Review performance and analysis sales data on period basis.
·
Monthly reports and update to broader business.
Mental Availability
·
Drive Brand awareness by effectively developing below the line
support for the Chocolate, Pet & Food Brands in the region in conjunction
with Trade partners.
·
Implement effective consumer and trade promotions in all
markets.
·
Advise development & deployment of POS in all markets.
Team Contribution
1.
Actively contribute on all strategic and operational decision as
an active member of the Sub Saharan Africa management team.
2.
Actively contribute to the AFD S&OP team to ensure delivery
of the Battle Plan and replan.
Requirements
·
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma Marketing & Sales, MBA will be an
added advantage
·
Minimum 5 years Sales Operational & Key Account
experience/marketing experience

Reporting to: AFD Market Director
Field Sales Representative
Job Purpose Statement
To achieve hot spot placing of our merchandising equipment in all existing and potential outlets.
Key responsibilities
·
Develop maximum distribution of our products at the retail end
and merchandising in all outlets in assigned area of coverage.
·
Ensure accurate data capture and achievement of excellent market
intelligence for the assigned territory.
·
Update POS material to attract consumers and make them aware of
Wrigley’s products.
·
Achieving merchandising objectives i.e. display locations,
enlargements and number of customer visits per day.
·
Create strong customer relationship.
·
Direct, guide, control and generally oversee the work of Retail
Representatives (Up lifters) and any indirect personnel/employee placed under
you.
Requirements
·
Degree in Sales and/or Marketing.
·
At least two years selling experience in the same role in the
FMCG Industry.
·
Strong selling and negotiating skills.
·
Ability to deliver Consistent Results
·
Ability to create Collaborative Relationships
·
Attention to detail.
·
Clean & Valid Driving licence
