Our client is a leading service provider with a global presence in more than 60 countries offering integrated support services in the information sector including telecommunications and technology.
 

Their services portfolio comprises Communication Network Construction including engineering construction, civil works and  engineering project contracting; Network Operation Management Outsourcing including core network maintenance and network optimization; Application and IT Service including integration system, software development, voice and internet value-added services as well as wireless equipment installation and commissioning.
 
They maintain good working relationships with many partners including equipment business partners, financial partners, hardware products manufacturers and software developers.

Job Summary
 
Ensure formulation and execution of marketing plans to achieve set marketing and sales targets.

Core Duties and Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement a marketing strategy in line with corporate strategy
  • Provide guidance and advise top management on marketing-related decisions aligned to corporate strategy
  • Develop, review and implement marketing policies and procedures
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly marketing plans and targets guided by the corporate strategic plan
  • Analyze market information to help set sales forecasts and stretch revenue goals
  • Manage the marketing budget
  • Identify and tap into new markets
  • Develop and articulate marketing communication messages and campaigns and make presentations to clients
  • Maintain good and productive working relations with government agencies
  • Identify and optimize the use of various advertizing and Public Relations avenues to position the organization’s services favourably in the market
  • Manage and oversee marketing research to inform the business on service strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and areas of improvement
  • Execute business to business marketing strategies
  • Conduct periodic reviews and analyses of the service portfolio’s performance in prevailing market conditions
  • Ensure optimal staffing and deployment of skills appropriately to achieve set sales targets
  • Manage employee performance and development in the department
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting and analysis in relation to marketing and sales activities
Professional Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing/ ICT
  • Five years experience in Marketing, three of which must be in ICT and/or Telecommunications industry at management level
  • A Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) / MSK Diploma will be an added advantage
  • Proven experience in marketing strategy formulation and execution
