Representative
Reports to: National Sales Manager
Location: Nairobi /
Nakuru / Mombasa / Uganda
Sale of Vehicles: Pick-ups, minibus, light trucks, medium trucks, heavy trucks and buses.

Sale of Vehicles (commercial vehicles, light and heavy trucks)

Principle Accountabilities:
The person will be
accountable for:
- Maintaining
and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings,
telephone calls and Email;
- Visiting
potential customers to prospect for new orders;
- Gathering
market and customer information;
- Following
bank with approval letters and release letters;
- Negotiating
variations in price, delivery and specifications with managers;
- Advising
on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
- Recording
sales and order information and report to manage;
- Reviewing
own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
- Gaining
a clear understanding of customers and requirements;
- Making
accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with
quotations;
- Following
the sales procedures, such as duty payment, registration and delivery etc.
Skills and Competencies
- Degree:
N/A
- Diploma:
N/A
- Experience:
at least 3 years in Motor Industry (preferably with experience in Chinese
motors – Isuzu / Mitsubishi / Tata, etc)
- Strong
computer skills – MS Office and MS Outlook
- Strong
communication skills – written and verbal
- Willing
to work under pressure and given targets
- Capacity
to analyze customer needs and offers solutions
