ICT Fire & Rescue ICT Fire & Rescue is the only purpose built fire and first aid training college that has been established in Thika and is fully equipped with modern equipment and highly qualified trainers to cater for all fire fighting and first aid needs.
We are looking for experienced Fire Alarm and Security Technician, required to
undertake a challenging, but interesting role, working on all types of Fire
Alarm and Intruder Alarm systems.ICT Fire & Rescue ICT Fire & Rescue is the only purpose built fire and first aid training college that has been established in Thika and is fully equipped with modern equipment and highly qualified trainers to cater for all fire fighting and first aid needs.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for responding to service and maintenance calls for client’s equipment.
Must have wide-ranging experience with various electronic security systems and working knowledge of the related industry regulations and procedures.
This role requires a strong installation understanding and someone who can problem solve and offer suggestions.
This role is working on electrical, fire alaram and door entry systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Fire
Alarm and Security Technician/Electrical Engineer / Fire Alarm Engineer
- Repairing
faults on systems & carrying out technical surveys on systems and
schemes
- Electronic
security systems service & maintenance tailored to individual
requirements within the commercial market
- Repairing
faults on systems & carrying out technical surveys on systems and
schemes
- Liaising
directly with clients on specific problems
- Install
to the pre-defined specification on various electronic security systems
- Servicing
maintaining and installations of fire alarm devices
- Electrical
Maintenance and installations on building services electrical systems
- Installations
of conduit and trunking
- Have
a full driving licence
- Able
to demonstrate effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Has
attention to detail and able to follow up and complete tasks to deadlines
and compliance standards.
Preferred Skills:
- Experienced
in Installing fire and Security alarm
- Experience
in electrical installations and maintenance
- Electrical
and Fire Experience
