LVCT is an indigenous Kenyan NGO. We have offered HIV testing
and counselling to over 5 Million Kenyans in over 900 public facilities and
provide ARVs to over 10,000 HIV positive clients.
Our widely published research has influenced HIV policy reforms
in Kenya and within the World Health Organization.
We partner with the Ministries of Health and the National AIDS
Control Council. We work across Kenya through a staff of over 240.
The LVCT Training Institute is registered by the Ministry of
Higher Education Science and Technology. It has trained over 75% of
Kenya’s HIV counselors and 10,000 health care workers since 2002.
We offer the KNEC examined Diploma in Counseling Psychology: HIV
Testing and Counseling.
We have also developed the WEMA Kazini services offered to over
70 companies in Kenya as part of our revenue generation strategy.

This is a challenging leadership position responsible for
transforming the LVCT Training Institute into a leading self-sustaining
academic and training institution and growing the WEMA Kazini service into the
preferred brand by the private sector for HIV and lifestyle illness prevention
and management.
The Director will be part of a dynamic, energetic team and will
provide Vision for the Business Development Department, execute strategy,
develop partnerships and increase LVCT’s visibility.
The Director will be responsible for quality and results
of the Department and across the organization and will report to the Executive
Director.

What you need to have:
- A
track record delivering results through teams
- Demonstrated
record of growing businesses and products from start up to self-sustaining
preferably in the private sector
- At
least at least a Master’s degree with over 7 years of senior management
experience. A Bachelor’s degree will be considered if suitable.
- Excellent
writing and communication skills
- A
good understanding of product development, branding and marketing
- Knowledge
of organizational management, systems implementation and controls
