South Nyanza Sugar Company Limited, a key player in the sugar
industry in Kenya wishes to enhance its human capital base by filling the
position of Corporate Planning and Strategy Manager with
talented and qualified Kenyan citizen.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Corporate Planning and Strategy manager
will facilitate the Company in formulating, monitoring and evaluation of Strategic
Plan and Performance Contract; and Business environment and overall Performance
monitoring.Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze
the Company Key Performance Indicators and report periodically for
corporate decision making.
- Monitor
and evaluate corporate business assumptions and critical success factors
for relevance in supporting the strategic course of the organization
- Coordinate
the formulation, implementation and evaluation of corporate strategic plan
- Monitor
the Company’s industry and competitive environment.
- Facilitate
formulation of performance contract for the company and oversee its
implementation and reporting as required by the government of Kenya.
- Coordinate
company performance contracting process
- Periodically
analyze company performance through key performance indicators (KPI)
- Ensures
purchases are in line with relevant business plan through material
resource planning
- Ensures
proper maintenance of database on corporate business plans
- Responsible
for co-ordination, monitoring and evaluation of annual departmental work
plans
Person Specifications
- Holder
of Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields; Economics,
Mathematics (Statistics), Project Management from a recognized
institution.
- Post
Graduate Diploma (PGD) in project management/strategic planning.
- Masters
Degree in any of the following; Economics, Mathematics ( Statistics),
Business Administration, Strategic Management, Project Management
will be added advantage
- Three
(3) years relevant work experience in a busy commercial organization
- Proficient
in Computer applications
- Excellent
analytical planning and interpersonal skills
- High
integrity
