Key Tasks
Duties and responsibilities will entail:-

  • Procurement and safe custody of stores; issuance of stores; and establishing the movement of stores;
  • Stores and inventory management;
  • Management of donor funded procurement;
  • Preparation and management of the council’s procurement plan;
  • Proper coordination of tender and procurement committee meetings;
  • Management of the disposal of unserviceable, obsolete and/or other stores;
  • Initiating policy on supplies; reviewing, updating, interpretation and implementing existing supplies regulations, procedures, and systems in line with government policy;

Key Tasks
Duties and responsibilities will entail:-
  • Ensuring the website is running and available at all times.
  • Carry out updates/revisions to the website as and when is required.

  • Reading through the cases allocated to them and identifying reportable cases as per the KLR Editorial Policy;
  • Preparation of case summaries for the cases identified as reportable as per the KLR Guidelines;
  • Researching on viable solutions that may improve efficiency within the legal sector;
  • Conducting legal research and preparing legal briefs to the inquiring Judge;
  • Researching on precedent setting authorities within varied jurisdictions of common law;
  • Liaising with judicial offers and judicial researchers;
  • Writing analytical summaries of written argument or evidence and assessing the argument in light of academic legal literature and case law;
  • Carrying out research on changes which Have taken place in the Laws of Kenya so as to facilitate revision of statutes;
