Call for Expression of Interest (EOI)

Tullow Oil is Africa’s leading independent oil and gas exploration and production company and is a constituent of the London FTSE100. 

The Group has interests in over 100 exploration and production licences across 24 countries focusing on four core regions: Africa, Europe, South Asia and South America.

Tullow Kenya B.V., a subsidiary of Tullow Oil plc (thereinafter also referred to as The ‘Company’), is the operator in six license Blocks in Northern and Western Kenya. 

The Company is in various stages of exploration across all the licences.

The Company is looking for experienced consultants to provide the following services:

1. Advertising and Creative Services
  • Creative design
  • Advertising management
  • Production of communication materials
  • Specialist copy writing
2. Strategic Public Relations & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Media management
  • Issues appraisal & analysis
  • Crisis communications management
  • Stakeholder mapping and monitoring
  • Stakeholder engagement planning
3. Media Monitoring
  • Daily clipping service
  • Digital media reports & repository services
  • Monthly media analysis
  • Social media monitoring
Firms Eligible to Participate in the Expression of Interest:
  1. Must be a well established firms possessing all the requisite and valid certification and registration to practice in Kenya;
  2. Must have been established prior to 2007 and been actively practicing since then;
  3. Must be a well established firm and experienced in the above mentioned three areas of interest;
  4. Must possess thorough working knowledge of the Kenyan and regional media, publishing and advertising landscape;
  5. Experience in the upstream oil & gas industry will be an added advantage.
Interested Companies should submit their applications providing the following required information;
  • Company profile, with full organization details, background and organization structure;
  • A comprehensive disclosure of qualifications and CV’s of key personnel engaged on full time basis, inclusive of organization structure and clear indication of the staff role in the firm;
  • Description of at least four (4) similar assignments executed in the last three (3) years to include the contract value, brief descriptions of previous works completed and the, period of the consultancy and the organization/company on whose behalf the works was undertaken;
  • Duly signed letter granting TKBV authority to authenticate referees named in fulfillment of number 2 above;
  • Certified copies of firm’s registration certificate and other relevant certification;
  • Certified copies of PIN and or VAT registration and a current tax compliance certificate issued by KRA.
