6. Basic Function
The position is responsible for the implementation of the marketing activities to ensure Pride Inn brands visibility and equity for business development.

8. Nature and Scope of the Position
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Executive will be involved in all aspects of marketing that includes advertising, sponsorship, planning, Banqueting and Conferencing, research, and product development.
9. Principal Accountabilities
9.1. Business Development-70%
- Lobby
for new business in the market through agents, brokers and direct clients
- Direct
involvement in business follow up for existing clients based on past
performance
- Identify
new marketing Initiatives
- Study
the market trends in the region and identify opportunities for business
growth
- Assist
in the coordination of marketing activities and policies to promote
products and services
- Analyze
demands of the customers and assist in delivering approved marketing
strategies
- Coordinate
with managers in carrying out marketing campaigns
9.2. Public Relations Activities – 15 %
- Attend
and assist in organizing exhibitions, sales and promotional events
- Manage
marketing materials distribution; include leaflets, flyers and posters
- Safeguard
the company’s interests and reputation in ensuring the organizational
values and standards are maintained during the marketing campaigns
- Represent
the company at industry meetings to promote products and services
9.3. Customer Relationship Management – 15%
- Attend
to clients’ enquiries either through email, telephones or referrals from
underwriting staff
- Attend
to customer who visit the office for enquiries
- Ensure
renewal notice letters are sent to clients and following up if the
renewals were received by the client
- Advise
clients on changes in policies
10. Information
The position will prepare the following reports:-
- Weekly
marketing reports
- Marketing
Trends and intelligence reports to identify profit and loss making classes
of Clients
