You will be reporting directly to the Vice President.
Responsible for sale
and implementation of investment, banking, trust/estate and insurance products
to core clients
Manage each account to
ensure that the client has a completed profile, is introduced to the
appropriate product specialists and that accounts are properly maintained and
serviced
Must be able to
deliver a distinctive and thoughtful experience that is aimed at providing
appropriate advice for the client's situations that secures confidence and
business
Build trust with
clients and effectively manage relationships
Ensure that the
proposed products and services maximize the clients' needs, goals and
objectives
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Proven
sales success including: prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections,
negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for
referrals
- Experience
or demonstrated understanding of investments, banking and trust concepts
including, but not limited to: structured products, managed portfolios,
brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews basic trust and estate products and
identification of wealth planning opportunities
- Coachable
professional with good “business sense” and an energetic / dynamic
personality.
- Excellent
interpersonal skills and face-to-face relationship building abilities
- Good
computer skills that include working with the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong
relationship management and team building skills; views team concept as
critical to model
Position Requirements
- Five
plus years’ experience in Wealth Management working with High Net Worth
individuals and families or related fields within financial services
(covering the East African Markets)
- Must
have an existing book of clients / solid network with investable assets of
at least $250k per client
- Ideally
of graduate or MBA caliber with existing private client qualification
