Operations Manager

Purpose

Effective service delivery and profitable expansion of the business and provision of the full range of company services for the successful achievement of the branch profit objectives

Responsibilities

  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  • Oversee overall staff management, planning, systems and controls and supervise and coach office manager on a weekly basis.
  • Management of large guard force and alarms administration and the organizing and overseeing effective supervision
  • Ensure customer briefings and Conduct security surveys are carried out where required and design appropriate assignment instructions
  • Visit incident scenes, investigation and compilation of detailed reports. Carrying out intelligence threat assessment and coordinating with law enforcement agencies in solving crime
  • Work to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and manage change where necessary. Monitor and report service levels as requested, taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Set, manage and monitor the departmental budget, reporting on variances and implementing appropriate actions.
  • Ensures full compliance, in all Section, in regard to Audit and Procedures.
  • Ability to motivate and willing to work for long hours
The Ideal Candidate

  • University graduate preferably in social sciences; a diploma in security management will be an added advantage
  • Security background preferably in the disciplined forces at senior level
  • Proven experience in organizational and administrative duties
  • Focused on delivery of customer service.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access
  • Have good communication, report writing skills, leadership and decision making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
