Based in Nairobi, the Global M&E specialist will be supporting the implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation in Land O'Lakes international development programs.
Main
responsibilities will be to assist development programs during the main stages
of M&E including, but not limited to: start-ups, baselines, on-going
monitoring activities and reporting, assessments and improvements, close-outs,
final surveys and reporting of data.
Also,
main responsibilities will include close coordination with the M&E,
Communications, Information Systems and other teams at the home office to make
sure that their standards are effectively implemented in the M&E process
and systems.
This
position will also be a key collaborator with New Business Development.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s
Degree; Master’s Degree preferred.
- At
least two years of industry-related, data-oriented experience;
- Strong
background in both qualitative and quantitative analysis;
- Strong
MS Office Suite proficiency and immediate proficiency in statistical
software (Minitab, SPSS, Stata, EpiInfo, MS Access).
- Must
be detail oriented, proactive, and flexible
- Ability
to work with people of different cultures
- Must
demonstrate problem solving abilities
- Excellent
English written and oral communications skills
- Experience
with USAID or USDA programs and
- Knowledge
of agriculture, nutrition and/or health a plus
