Reporting to the
Projects Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing
civil and structural engineering consultancy to KTDA and subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing
civil/structural engineering design
- Assisting
in tender documentation and budget estimates
- Supervising
construction to ensure they meet structural and civil designs
- Reviewing
drawings (Internal and External)
- Carrying
building audits to establish status of service
Qualifications /Competencies/ Experience
The ideal candidate
must possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies
- Bachelor
of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- Be
registered by the Engineering Board
- Three
(3) years relevant experience.
- Exposure
to IT skills
- Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability
to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Risk Assurance and Systems
Compliance Manager - Subsidiaries
Position Scope
Reporting to the Group Head of Risk Assurance & Compliance, the successful candidate will be responsible for continual development, implementation and delivery of audit/assurance services for our subsidiaries to ensure improvement of management information systems, processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing
risk based annual audit plan and audit programmes.
- Appraising
risk management, internal controls and corporate governance processes.
- Ensuring
high quality audits.
- Identifying
opportunities for improving risk and assurance management systems and
processes.
- Supervising
auditors work and other administrative matters.
- Reviewing
performance of the department.
Qualifications /Competencies/ Experience
The ideal candidate
must possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies: -
- Bachelor
of Commerce in Accounting or Business degree in Accounting
- CPA (K)
qualification
- Certified
Systems Information Auditor (CISA) is an added advantage
- Seven
(7) years Internal Audit experience with at least three (3) years at
management level
- Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good
analytical skills.
- Experience
in use of audit softwares and analytical tools
- Ability
to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Reporting to the Senior Auditor, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing audit plans by carrying out audit procedures.

Reporting to the Senior Auditor, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing audit plans by carrying out audit procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying
out investigative and ad-hoc audit assignments.
- Reviewing
audit findings with client managers and recommending corrective action
where necessary.
- Presenting
audit findings to audit management and senior management.
- Performing
post-audit follow-up to determine extent of implementation of audit
recommendations.
- Compiling
final reports on audits for review.
- Preparing
work papers and weekly reports.
Qualifications /Competencies/ Experience
The ideal candidate
must possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies: -
- Bachelors
degree in Accounting from a recognized university.
- CPA (K)
or ACCA.
- Five
(5) years work experience in internal auditing or in a professional audit
firm.
- Certified
Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and CIA qualification will be an added
advantage
- Exposure
to any audit data analysis tools will be an added advantage
- Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good
analytical skills.
- Ability
to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Workshop Manager
Position Scope
Reporting functionally to the Head of Technical Services and operationally to the General Manager – Procurement and Engineering Service Center, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing Engineering workshop fabrication and site installations.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting functionally to the Head of Technical Services and operationally to the General Manager – Procurement and Engineering Service Center, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing Engineering workshop fabrication and site installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing
detailed input for the quotations, planning and reviews of all workshop
projects.
- Determining
the work prioritization and task allocation for all workshop tasks.
- Reviewing
all designs and workshop drawings
- Ensuring
health, safety and welfare of staff and customers in the workshop.
- Organizing
appointments, collections, transportation, installation, commissioning and
after sales support for the fabricated items
- Allocating
work and support to the workshop staff.
- Liaising
with Sales, Procurements and Technical Services as required.
- Ensuring
that welding, fabrication, mechanical or machining works are carried
out to the highest standards
- Carrying
out and documenting Health and Safety checks and be responsible for
premise security.
- Supervising,
coordinating and evaluating staff
Qualifications /Competencies/ Experience
The ideal candidate
must possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies:
- Bachelor
of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering
- Be
registered by the Engineering Board.
- 5 years
experience in a busy Heavy Engineering workshop, 2 of which must be at
supervisory level.
- Experience
with CNC technology will be an added advantage.
- Good
management skills
- Proficiency
in AutoCAD.
- Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability
to work under pressure and meet deadlines

re-measurements of all provisional works as executed

Periodic Financial Appraisals and Final Accounts
Qualifications /Competencies/ Experience

must possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies
- University
degree in Building Economics
- Three
(3) years post graduation experience
- Pre and
Post Contract experience
- Exposure
to IT skills
- Ability
to meet strict deadlines
