Position:  HTC Counselors - (2)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
  • Two year certificate course in any Social Science from a recognized institution
  • Attained at least a C- (Minus) in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
  • Must be HTC certified by NASCOP
  • Excellent Written and Oral communication skills.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in  HIV Testing and Counselling is highly preferred
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • HIV related short courses will also be an added advantage
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Observe HTC professional ethics
  • Offer psychosocial support to clients
  • Observe Quality Control and Quality Assurances in HTC service provision.
  • Mobilize, Test and counsel Clients
  • Able to adequately refer clients to appropriate services
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
