Key task
Responsible for delivering friendly, efficient customer service
and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of our guests, with the
key aim of retaining and attracting new customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver
excellent customer service, at all times
- Assist
in keeping the front office reception area clean and tidy, at all times
- Deal
with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on
the telephone or via e-mail
- Administer
all reservations, cancellations and no-shows, in line with company policy
- Keep
up to date with current promotions and apartment pricing, to provide
information to guests, on request, while maximizing room sales’
opportunities
- Fulfill
all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction
and safety
- Provide
reports, as required, for housekeepers and management
- Be
responsible for evacuation, in cases of emergency, acting as first point
of contact for guests and the emergency services
Job specification of Front Office Receptionist
- Diploma
or a Certificate in front office operations from Kenya Utalii
College or equivalent
- 2-3
years experience in hospitality industry; specialty in handling front
office operations will be desirable
