a new regional office in Nairobi. Location: Nairobi, with occasional travel to project sites
We specialize in the areas of water, environment and renewable
energy and we are seeking for qualified and experienced individuals to fill the
positions of a Water Technician.
The ideal candidate should have experience in diagnosing water, designing treatment solutions, install water treatment solution, purification and disinfection systems for homes, offices, industries and communities.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate should have experience in diagnosing water, designing treatment solutions, install water treatment solution, purification and disinfection systems for homes, offices, industries and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Should
have experience in Proven Water Treatment Systems Installation, in
WATSAN/WASH projects or any relevant practical engineering experience.
- Demonstrate
ability to conduct site surveys, design and install a water supply,
treatment as well as drainage systems
- Knowledge
of Water Pressure and Pumping Systems and proficiency in Water Treatment
Equipment
- Strong
Planning and organization Skills
- A
keen understanding for drinking water and waste water treatment systems
Qualifications
- University
Degree in Environmental/ Water Engineering or any other related field.
- 2
years experience in a field of engineering or in WASH projects.
- Experience
in conducting EIA/EA (Must be registered by NEMA)
- knowledge/experience
in any design software.
- Should
be keen to details, have strong numeric ability and have passion for
results
- Have
good communication skills- both written and verbal.
