Billing & ERP Manager Job in Nairobi Kenya


Our client in the communication industry is looking to fill the position of a Billing & ERP Manager who will report to Group Chief Financial Officer.
 
Job Purpose / Summary:
 
The Billing and ERP Manager shall be responsible for the overall Planning & Strategy, Reporting and Daily operational Support & Maintenance within the Billing and ERP domains. 

The main duties are:
  • General Resource Management.
  • Management of Billing and ERP processes.
  • Manage Internal Customers and user departments/Business Units.
  • Billing and ERP Cost and Revenue Management.
The Billing and ERP Domain includes but is not limited to the following, the Systems (Hardware, Software), the processes, the staff and all the relevant management controls and reporting requirements within these functional areas.
 
Key Roles:
 
Planning and Strategy – Ensure that all the company’s Billing and ERP systems are designed and implemented to meet current and future business requirements to support the company’s vision
 
Project Management – Responsible for end to end project delivery for all Billing and ERP domain projects and ensure that the projects are delivered on time and on budget.
 
Operational Support and Maintenance – Is responsible for the day to day operational support for all Billing and ERP processes for the entire Group of Companies.
 
Revenue Reporting and Analysis – Is responsible for the reporting strategy both financial and operational performance to provide Senior Management with timely information for prompt decision making.
 
People Management - Recruit, develop and retain a high performing team with clear objectives and career development plans which are regularly reviewed.
 
General Resource Management – Is the custodian of all resources within the domains covered by the role and is in charge for its planning and budget execution.

Qualifications
  • Degree in a Technical Field with a bias in IT i.e. (Computer Science, Telecommunication, Electrical and Electronics or Information Technology)
  • Project Management Qualification i.e. PMP or Prince2.
  • Post graduate qualification in IT service management e.g. ITIL
Skills and Experiences
  • A total of 8 years’ experience in business systems management in a highly automated environment.
  • 4 years of which must be within Billing and (or) ERP/Financial Systems management.
  • 3 years team leadership in Information Technology environment
  • Good management and leadership skills, resourcing, staff development, guidance and counselling.
  • Good understanding of multi-business functions and business processes.
  • Good Interpersonal skills i.e. Influencing, communication and negotiation skills,
  • Problem solving and Analytical skills
  • Decisive Decision maker.
