VP - Sales (Africa)
The purpose of the
Sales Head is to:Head the Sales efforts of the company in the region, ensuring
sales targets are met, while driving customer satisfaction.
Revenue Targets: Overall, responsible for ensuring that
order booking and other sales targets for the region are met
New client acquisition
Client Relationship: Ensure Customer Satisfaction is high in
the region, driving the CSAT target for the entire region by engaging with the
client and ensuring highest levels of service from all products
Collections: Overall, responsibility of ensuring
collections and payments in the region
Process Compliance: Ensure all processes related to Bid
Management, Sales Funnel reporting & tracking, Sales Forecasting etc are
adhered to in the region
Account Management: Build Account Management & Solution selling skills in the
region.
Internal stakeholder
management: Work collaboratively
to drive efficiencies with internal teams on etc) and create win-win situations
while handling customer engagement on the ground
Competencies Required
Functional
- Good
domain knowledge of VAS / Telecom Products
- Should
have good flair for client relationship management & should have been
in a Sales role for a global Multi National Company
- Should
have experience handling & dealing with CXO level employees of a large
global corporation
- Education
and Experience
- Must
have a business related degree or B Tech and an MBA in Marketing is
preferable
- 15+
years of relevant work experience
- Understanding
of French language will be an added advantage

- Ability
to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong
strategic business acumen coupled with execution capability
- Excellent
