Stores Officer
Duties
Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with
purchase orders;
Tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
Maintain records of all deliveries.
Fill supply requisitions; assist buyer to order adequate
merchandise and supplies;
Deliver orders to departments and staff.
Receive, store, tag and track surplus materials;
Receive and store documents as well as maintain records of
approved documents.
Ship back canceled and damaged items to vendors as appropriate.
Deliver and set up products and materials as requested.
Maintain the record area and store area in a neat and orderly
manner.
Answer questions regarding procedures and resolve discrepancies
regarding receipts,
Deliveries, Warranties, repairs and surplus property.
Conduct product training for new employees.
Maintain accurate manual and computer records
Perform physical labour duties
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Minimum of Diploma in stores and Purchasing
At least 1year working experience in store.
Experience in working in an ICT firm would be an added advantage
Must have ability to understand and carry out oral and written
instructions
Must demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for diversity
