The purpose of the Sales Head is to:
Head the Sales efforts of the company in the region, ensuring sales targets are met, while driving customer satisfaction.

VP- Sales (Africa)        

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Targets : Overall, responsible for ensuring that order booking and other sales targets for the region are met
  • New client acquisition
  • Client Relationship : Ensure Customer Satisfaction is high in the region, driving the CSAT target for the entire region by engaging with the client and ensuring highest levels of service from all products
  • Collections : Overall, responsibility of ensuring collections and payments in the region
  • Process Compliance : Ensure all processes related to Bid Management, Sales Funnel reporting & tracking, Sales Forecasting etc are adhered to in the region
  • Account Management: Build Account Management & Solution selling skills in the region.
  • Internal stakeholder management: Work collaboratively to drive efficiencies with internal teams on etc) and create win-win situations while handling customer engagement on the ground
Competencies Required
Functional
  • Good domain knowledge of VAS / Telecom Products
  • Should have good flair for client relationship management & should have been in a Sales role for a global Multi National Company
  • Should have experience handling & dealing with CXO level employees of a large global corporation
Education and Experience
  • Must have a business related degree or  B Tech and an MBA in Marketing is preferable
  • 15+ years of relevant work experience
  • Understanding of French language will be an added advantage

Key responsibilities
  • Lead, support  and monitor the overall  Africa operations

Head of Implementation - Mobile Money

Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to:
Overall responsible to deliver Mobile Money integrations and platform upgrades in line with Mobile Money’s strategic business directions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand, deploy and enforce processes for building high quality and reliable software.
  • Manage SLAs for debugging /troubleshooting for applications /DBs/Interfaces and configurations.
  • Maintain and perform change management of software in the development stages.
  • Rollout new services into production environment in coordination with product vendors and IT network teams.
  • Work with Partner m Commerce teams and third party suppliers or solution integrators to plan introduction of application maintenance patches, enhancement releases or upgrades and installation configuration of new applications identified from time to time.
  • Manage a team of integration and Oracle Database engineers.  
Key Competencies Required
Functional
  • Experience in application development preferably ZAP/ Homisco in Telecom domain and supporting Telecom VAS software products / applications
  • Java, ASP,.Net Framework, Oracle Database, end to end SDLC experience
  • Extensive experience in managing Integration engineers and should have hands on integration exposure.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and manage defined SLAs
Education and Experience
  • Must hold a Business related degree or B Tech. An MBA is preferable
  • Total 10 years of experience and Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Generation & Enhancement
  • Complete Ownership of Annual Business Plans for the Africa Music Segment, responsible for increasing revenues, getting new business & drive the targets for the region.
  • Deftness in giving direction to the overall business operations and attaining the pre-designated business targets in the given parameters
  • Responsible for account management and revenue enhancement initiatives
  • Study, Analyse customer usage behaviour and implement appropriate programs customized to usage patterns to enhance usage and revenues
  • A keen planner with deftness in implementing strategies aimed at ensuring successful expansion, running and management of operations
Client Management
  • Manage business relationships with Clients through regular interaction via client meetings & conference.
  • Interact with External and Internal teams - establish and manage relationships, negotiate contracts to develop applications and content.

People Management

Previous Experience

  • Experience in product management, revenue enhancing initiatives etc.
