Position: Logistics Coordinator
Reports to: Stores and Logistics manager

Role / objective summary
Coordinate and arrange
inventory of stock, product adjustments and distribution of all incoming and
outgoing items and also arrange inter warehouse transfers
Duties and responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities
- Monitor
delivery schedules to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
- Ensure
customer contact details are up-to-date in the system
- Maintain
Local Purchase Order (LPO) Register and process LPO from sales
representatives
- Supporting
other departments within the company through planning and scheduling the
delivery and collection of goods.
- Prepare
and Maintain accurate records of all deliveries.
- Send
back canceled and damaged items to vendors/suppliers as appropriate.
- Establish
and implement a supply or distribution chain management system and ensure
proper documentation, logbooks, fuel consumption and servicing protocols.
- Keep
sales representatives updated on the progress of their delivery to
customers
- Liaise
with the accounts department and credit control on invoicing or credit
notes passed
- Work
effectively with the stores and logistics manager in resolving inventory
or order discrepancies that are outside your control
- Liaise
with the stores department on maintaining documentation supporting order
fulfillment, distribution means, and pricing
- Codes,
and prepares proper paperwork for billing and authorization of a variety
of invoices per defined processes
- Any
other duty as assigned by management
Desired Qualification:
- Any
relevant qualification in Stores or Logistics
- 5 years
experience.
- Good
negotiation skills.
