Job Description:
Perform installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and handling of Fiber Optic cable
Perform OTDR testing;Job Description:

Perform cable splicing and fiber acceptance testing;
Monitor team performing conduit installation, cable placement and splicing;
Provide preliminary site surveys for building entrance construction requirements and equipment space availability;
Provide leadership for all splicing activities, including continuity testing, OTDR trace analysis and optical power meter data of fiber optic cable;
Responsible for installation and testing of fiber optic patch cords;
Ensuring that the project adheres to guidelines/specification of the client/customer.
Hauling of inner ducts, flouting of the fiber cable, splicing and termination on the Switches.
Linking of BTS with fiber cables, ugpgrade and downgrade, installing combiner and CU's and FCUs at the BTS Container
Experience:
- At
least 5 Years in Fiber Optic installation
Key skills / Qualification required
Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunication
Experience using Splicing machine, OTDR
Experience in creating and using the Bill of Quantity (BOQ).

We require an experienced site surveyor and Designer with experience in fiber optic projects.
- Do
detailed survey for utilities and other features along roads, in terms of
quality of the road, buildings etc.
- Measure
the area with the help of instruments like GPS, measuring tapes
- Draw
the map of entire survey with the help of software’s like Google maps, CAD
etc.
- Prepare
OSP Fundamental plans, engineering detailed plans, Single Line
- Diagrams
(SLD), and other related design drawings.
- Detailed
Design includes but not limited to designing a Lay Plan (civil works, duct
route and manholes), Haul Plan (Cable Pulling Plan), Fiber Optic Grid
Plan.
- Populate
Engineering design data into Excel format.
- Preparation
of engineering work load estimates.
- Digitizing
of As-built Fiber Network plan.
Experience:
- At
least 5 Years in site survey
- Experience
in Fiber optic projects
Key skills / Qualification required
- Diploma/Degree
in Civil engineering.
- Experience
using GPS
- Experience
using the following software: Google Maps, AutoCAD, MAP Info
