Key Responsibilities & Result Areas
- Responsible
for the day-to-day operations of the HR department
- Performs
issuance
of contracts, maintenance of various personnel records and files;
- Coordinates
the recruitment of all staff,
- Drafts
correspondence related to personnel matters and brief local and international staff of their rights,
entitlements and responsibilities;
- Prepares
relevant paperwork dealing with personnel related matters including recruitment, ensuring accuracy and that deadlines are met;
- Acts
as focal point for Performance Appraisals, briefing and sharing information on the subject with all staff;
provides guidance and training to staff on the procedures and guidelines;
- Keeps
track of the vacant posts and takes action on vacancy announcement, internally ensuring that the Job
Descriptions have been updated and made available at the field level;
- Process
leave requests for staff
- Maintain
and update Personnel filing system including staff personnel Files.
Archiving HR files.
- Assist
in including staff members in the Company medical scheme.
- Issue
employment letter and contracts upon staff requests.
- Assisting
in administrative roles
- Performing
other duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- A
fresh graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource
- IT
Skills- Computer literacy and the ability to effectively use standard
office software tools and other office technology to create documentation,
exchange and archive e-mail, and maintain electronic filing systems
