Key Responsibilities
 
Revenue Generation & Enhancement

  • Complete Ownership of Annual Business Plans for the Africa Music Segment, responsible for increasing revenues, getting new business & drive the targets for the region.
  • Deftness in giving direction to the overall business operations and attaining the pre-designated business targets in the given parameters
  • Responsible for account management and revenue enhancement initiatives
  • Study, Analyse customer usage behaviour and implement appropriate programs customized to usage patterns to enhance usage and revenues
  • A keen planner with deftness in implementing strategies aimed at ensuring successful expansion, running and management of operations
Client Management
  • Manage business relationships with Clients through regular interaction via client meetings & conference.
  • Interact with External and Internal teams - establish and manage relationships, negotiate contracts to develop applications and content.
  • Implement control systems leading to efficiency and performance
People Management
  • Team management skills : Experience in conducting Performance reviews, appraisals, manage, guide, mentor teams to high performance
  • Deploying systems and MIS to ensure that productivity and quality norms are met consistently, in line with business requirements while enhancing the customer experience and gaining better returns.
  • Having good domain knowledge of GSM technologies, VAS products and industry.
Previous Experience
  • Experience in managing entire VAS product life cycle.
  • Experience in managing Voice and Non-voice product lines such as CRBT, MCA, Content etc in Revenue share business scenario with a leading Telecom operator
  • Experience in product management, revenue enhancing initiatives etc.
Key Competencies Required
 
Functional
  • Good domain knowledge of VAS
  • Should have good flair for client coordination
Education and Experience
  • Graduation is essential and an MBA in Marketing is desirable and preferred
  • 12 - 15 years of relevant work experience
Personal
  • Pleasant persona with good networking ability
  • Strong strategic acumen coupled with execution capability
  • Excellent communication skills, matured in conduct and command
  • Ability to understand business and number driven
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
Organization Building
 
One of the key expectations from the role holder would be to be help establish, nurture and sustain the services framework from IT, HR, SCM, Finance & Legal perspective or for any other organization initiative that may be implemented from time to time. 

This would include identification, negotiation and support to help establish and run particular business process at a remote location (non – dev center location) by acting as an interface/front face for the external environment.
