Business Development Executive Job in Kenya


Our client an IT company wishes to recruit a Business Development Executive - IT Solutions 

Duties: 
Leveraging existing networks and account penetration skills to generate prospects for the firm. 
Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financial; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities. 
Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals. 
Stay appropriately networked and keep abreast of trends, news, events and deadlines, so that all possible, new or enhanced opportunities are exploited 
Locates, proposes, and close business deals by contacting potential clients; discovering and exploring opportunities. 
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; writing proposals, developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations. 
Monitors client retention
Represent the Manager in meetings
Be able to implement projects
Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually 
Manage the proposal development process and maintain the time-lines for the proposal teams 
Coordinate with sponsors concerning size, standards, conditions and timing of research 
Develop draft proposals based on team meetings and discussions 
Maintain the Business Development databases/Account Management

Qualifications
  • 32-35 years old
  • Good Software Development Skills
  • 2-3 years Experience in the same industry
  • Evidence of client portforlio for the same role is required
  • Bsc IT graduate
