Business Development Manager 


Reporting to Managing Director

The Business Development Manager is responsible for closing new business and maximizing Bulk’s market share, sales growth and profitability within a defined market segment, channel and or geographic territory. 

The Business Development Manager will be expected to develop and manage a sales process and pipeline to introduce Bulk’s portfolio of solutions to prospects that are not currently doing business with the Company. This position is a significant driver of new profitable business growth for Bulk Petroleum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and convert sales opportunities in new accounts into closed business.
  • Identify new market/customer opportunities for growth through prospecting, growth and competitive displacement.
  • Establish multi-level relationships with potential customer decision makers and meet regularly to manage sales process and reinforce Bulk’s relationship with the prospects.
  • Maintain a target list of opportunities, update customer profiles and provide accurate forecasts/pipeline tracking within the Bulk’s sales process.
  • Focus on prospects where our strength in our distribution network can differentiate us from our competition and deliver value and profitable growth.
  • Work with other sales colleagues to identify and pursue cross regional opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal resources and external contacts to drive new business leads and referrals.
  • Develop strategies, budgets and accurate sales forecasts to execute business plans and deliver on commitments.
  • Understand and articulate customer needs.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Highly motivated self starter individual with over 4 years of consultative/solution based selling in a business to business environment with relevant industry (petroleum/bunkering strongly preferred) experience.
  • Experience selling at the senior management levels with a proven track record of routinely closing deals that are mutually beneficial to the customer and the Company. .
  • This position requires a willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • A minimum of College degree
  • Proficiency in computers

Job Description:
       
Operations Manager  

Reporting to Managing Director

To handle field work, supervise loadings and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all loading operations are carried out efficiently, effectively and to the required Health Safety Security & Environment standards.
  • Ensure product availability; manage product in transit and in storage and control product losses effectively and safely.
  • Manage and ensure good working relations with external stakeholders
  • Manage the out sourced depot service contracts.
  • Ensure all customer delivery requirements both local & exports are executed.
  • Manage the outsourced transporters and ensure timely product delivery to clients.
  • Work with customs and other authorities to ensure timely release of product.
Requirements
  • Highly motivated performance driven individual with over 3 years experience in business operations (petroleum/bunkering strongly preferred) experience.
  • This position requires a willingness to work long hours

Job Description:
       
Accountant 

Reporting to Managing Director

This position will also carry out daily accounting and finance functions including the timely recording of transactions, cash management, banking, payroll, inventory, receivables, and payables

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.
  • Maintain accurate stock records
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
  • Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
  • Analyze and review budgets and expenditures
  • Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
  • Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Recommend, develop and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.
  • Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.
  • Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Highly motivated self starter individual with over 3 years of accounting work experience.
  • Minimum of CPA Part 2
  • Aged between 30 -45 years
  • Working knowledge of Quickbooks
